What is improv, you ask? Improv, short for improvisation, is the art of spontaneous ensemble theatre, where performers create scenes, characters, and comedy on the spot. At Northern Starz, we’re excited to embark on a collaborative journey, blending the talents of actors and audience members alike to craft a unique and engaging experience. Currently, we're developing original outlines and characters for a murder mystery-themed long-form performance that will incorporate beloved improv games. Prepare to think on your feet as you follow clues, create your own, and perhaps even find yourself accused of murder! Our troupe meets up to once a week for rehearsals and hosts weekend performances every few months at our vibrant Ramsey location.
