Camp Under the Starz offers an immersive experience for campers to refine their theatre, musical theatre, and dance skills in a vibrant and exhilarating summer camp program.
In addition to our annual theatre camp, we are thrilled to introduce an art camp, inviting those passionate about visual arts to explore their creativity in a new and inspiring setting!
Camp Under the Starz is all-inclusive! Students, ages 10-18 along with adults (19+) with disabilities.
Performing arts students will have theatre, voice, and dance classes. They will also have courses in characterization, stage presence, stage makeup, and other theater arts topics.
Art students will have classes in painting, drawing, scenery work, plein air, brushwork, and more!

Camper Ages:
Students ages 10-18 (individuals with or without disabilities)
Adults with disabilities: Ages 19+ (will need to complete a background check)
(Theatre track placement will be determined by auditions. Audition day/time is to be announced.)
Location:
Camp Under the Starz will be held in Slayton, MN.
Transportation:
Families will be responsible for getting their camper to and from camp. A Carpool list will be available upon request.
Pricing:
​Spooktacular Sale is Oct 1-15th. $1,000 due in full. If a waiver will be paying the amount, it MUST be paid by October 15th to receive the sale price. If paid after Oct 15th, the amount owing is listed below.

$1,000 October 1st - 15th
$1,200 October 16th - December 31st
$1,300 January 1st - April 15th
$1,500 April 15th - June 15th
If full payment is not received prior to JUNE 15, 2026, no refunds and camper CANNOT attend camp.

Waiver payment amounts due upon deadlines above. If paying with a waiver, Northern Starz needs to have the waiver funds by June 15, 2026 or a letter from the county stating that it will be paid in full (letter dated no later than June 15, 2026)
Cost includes:
All Food, snacks, housing, staff cost, volunteers, directorial staff, teaching artists,
production cost, art projects, camp t-shirts, and goody bag.
If your camper needs a PCA (Personal Care Attendant) at camp (as determined by staff), the additional cost for food/housing for the week is $450.00. Staff will reach out to you upon registration to determine if a PCA is needed. Northern Starz does not provide a PCA. You will need to provide a PCA if (after our interview process) we decide your students will do best with additional support.
We work with individuals on waivers utilizing the CDCS Plan and CADI waivers.

Refund Policy:
If you canceled by:
November 1, 2025 - December 31 2025 - 100% refund, less your transaction fee.
January 1, 2026 - April 30, 2026 - 50% refund, less your transaction fee.
May 1, 2026 - June 14, 2029 - 25% refund, less your transaction fee.
After June 15, 2026 NO Refund.
If full payment is not received prior to JUNE 15, no refunds and camper cannot attend camp.
