Information Page
Northern Starz Center for the Performing Arts offers an exciting, immersive summer experience with its Camp Under the Starz, a one-week theater and art camp that takes place every August.
This vibrant camp allows students with all abilities ages 10-18, as well as adults with disabilities (19+), to refine their theater, musical theater, and dance skills through hands-on learning.
Participants in the performing arts track will engage in theatre, voice, and dance classes, while also exploring vital aspects of stagecraft such as characterization, stage presence, makeup, and improvisation. The camp emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and performance in a supportive and inclusive environment, providing an unforgettable summer experience.

In addition to the theater program, Camp Under the Starz introduces a new art camp, inviting those in the visual arts track to express their creativity through painting, drawing, scenery work, and plein air. The art program offers a range of classes designed to inspire and challenge students, from brushwork techniques to creating scenic designs.
Camp activities also include fun and interactive experiences like hiking, campfires, sports, arts & crafts, and water activities. With a strong focus on artistic growth, teamwork, and self-expression, this camp is an ideal setting for anyone looking to explore their artistic talents in a dynamic and supportive community.
