Show Summary
Disney's The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world, and now you have the opportunity to produce this one-of-a-kind musical in your community. Bring the African savanna to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.
The Lion King JR. features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Young performers will also get the chance to learn a wide range of new theatrical skills—such as mask-making and puppetry—encouraging them to explore this beloved story with creativity and pride.
Audition details:
Artist = Individuals with disabilities -- Ages 10-21
ARTIST WAIT LIST -- At this time we are at not accepting artists registrations for the Lion King Jr. as we are at mentor capacity. You are able to register to be on our Artist Wait List but because this is a 1:1 program we need additional mentors to register before we can open our wait list. If you know a person who would make a great mentor have them register so we can open the wait list as soon as possible.
Mentor = Individuals to work side by side with artists -- Ages 10-21
At this time we are in need of additional mentors that will allow us to open our artist wait list. There are many that want to be part of this amazing program but we can only do it with the assistance of our amazing mentors.
